Son of: Garner Miles and Ruth Byrd Carver Jewell, decd.
Oilwell driller, veteran of the US Army AIr Corps and the USAF during WWII and
Korean War. Member of the DAV, Chapter 20 of Glasgow.
Survivors:
Brothers: T J and wife Mira of Glasgow; Harry and wife Lou Jean of Austin and
Neal and wife sarah of Lucs, KY.
Sisters: Ruth Barton of Bon Ayr, KY; Shirley DeVasher and husband Wallace of
Bowling Green and Follis Jewell of Glasgow.
Several nieces and nephews.
Preceded also in death by:
Brothers: Rodney, Gene and George Jewell
sisters: Irene Britt and Mildred Jewell
Services: 10 am Friday, 25 May 2001, graveside at Glasgow Municipal Cemetery,
military honors by the DAV.
