Veteran of WW II, served with the Army Air Corps, owner and operator of Jones
Frame Service and Jones Marine in Glasgow. Member and deacon of Dover Missionary
Baptist Church, Sunday School teacher for 43 years; member H. B. Grant Masonic
Lodge at Etoile; Etoile Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors:
Wife: Katherine Oliver Jones
Sisters: Aline Chambers, Nelda Moore and husband Eugene; Jane Hunt and husband
Earneset and Rosemary Thomas, all of Glasgow
Brothers:Wendell Jones and wife Wiladean and William "Bill" Jones and wife
Margaret,all of Glasgow.
Several nieces and nephews.
Services:1 pm Thursday, 11 May 2000, A. F. Crow and Son Funeral Home, burial
Poplar Log Cemetery.
