Son of: Samuel and Hallie Wisdom Jones
Veteran of WWII, served Army Air Corps; owner and operator of Jones Frame
Service and Jones Marine in Glasgow. Member Dover Missionary Baptist Church near
Etoile, Sunday School teacher for 43 years. Member H. B. Grant Masonic Lodge at
Etoile and Etoile Order of the Easter Star.
Survivors:
Wife: Katherine Oliver Jones
Sisters: Aline Chambers, Nelda Moore and husband Eugene; Jane Hunt and husband
Ernest and Rosemary Thomas, all of Glasgow.
Brothers: Wendell Jones and wife Wiladean and William "Bill" Jones and wife
Margaret, all of Glasgow.
Several nieces and nephews.
Services: 1 pm Thursday, 11 May 2000, A. F. Crow and Son Funeral Home, burial
Poplar Log Cemetery.
