Glasgow (KY) Weekly Times, 11 Mar 1896
"Mr. James H. Knipp, who was reported as probably being sseriously hurt in the 
News two weeks ago, died last Friday morning. His death was caused by being 
thrown from a mule. He remained almost unconscious all the time he was hurt 
until his death. He was buried at his home on Saturday in the presence of a 
large crowd of sorrowintg friends and relatives."
