NOTE: I have no connection, no further information and am not seeking
additional information.

"Mr. J. Thomps Lyon commits suicide. Age 76. Lived in the New Salem country
but was born and reared in Freedom section. Married 1st Miss Wilborn and had
one daughter, both have been dead many yers. Married second Miss Oliver who
died childless. Married 3rd Miss Earls of Stovall Crossing, who died several
years ago. Children: Edward, Raymond, Gladys and Clifton. He was "a man of
sorrow and acquainted with grief." Real estate agents got most of his
property and left in old age with little to encourage him. Brothers: Newt
Lyons of Freedom; Billy Grant Lyons of Cave City. Interred Glasgow Cemetery.
