Glasgow (KY) Weekly Times, 6 May 1896
"MRS. MIKE MYERS died quite suddenly of heart disease 
at the home of her husband in the Coral Hill country 
last Sunday night. Mrs. Myers had been in delicate health 
for some time, but nothing serious was apprehended up to 
the hour of her death, which was sudden and unexpected. 
She was a sister of Dr. T. H. Franks, of near this 
place, and was a most excellent lady. 

"The remains were interred near her late home yesterday."
