Glasgow (KY) Weekly Times, 8 Jan 1896
"Mr. Morton, late of this place, died at his home in Nashville, several days 
ago. Mr. Morton was a member of the saddle and harness firm of Morton and 
Marcum while he lived here, but when the firm dissolved in the early part of 
last fall, he went to Nashville, where he had since resided. Mr. Morton was a 
clever gentleman and while in business here he made many friends who will 
regret to learn of his death."
