Widower of: Inez Bowman Marrs
For over 40 years was a merchant and postmaster of the Mt. Herman Store which
had been in the Marrs family for 75 years. Had recently been attending First
United Methodist Church in Glasgow; former member of the Bethlehem Methodist
Church in Monroe Co whre he had been active in church and Sunday School for over
50 years.
Survivors:
Son: Dr. William F. Marrs and wife Maria, Glasgow
Daughters: Doris McKinley and husband, Dr. Robert McKinley, Glasgow; Martha
Yezerski and husband, Dr.John, Murray, KY; and Brenda Bowman Marrs,
Hendersonville,TN
Sister: Mary Rose Downing, Louisville
Grandsons: William Flemming Marrs, Benjamin Andrew (and wife Melissa)Marrs,
Brock Holston Marrs, John Eric YezerskiMatthew Jordan Yezerski and Adam Marrs
Yezerski.
services: 11 am Monday, 4 Dec 2000, A. F. Crow and Son Funeral Home, Glagow,
burial Poplar Log Cemetery.
