Mr. John A. Marshall. Died age 61. At his home on Broadway. Born and reared in Fallen Timber country. Wife: Miss Alice Miller, sister of J. B. Miller of Temple Hill. One brother and 2 sisters: Mose Marshall of Chestnut Grove country; Mrs. B. K. Nuckols and Mrs. Joe Williams. Member Methodist Church. Interred in Glasgow Cemetery. Mr. Marshall had been in poor health for quite a while and had been warned to keep quiet but Sat. Morning he fired a 12 guage shot gun at a cat, the gun kicked and he became agitated, from which he did not recover. Mr. Marshall was a very large man and his casket had to be ordered extra large size, the largest called for her in five years so it is said."
