Creed H. MAXEY - 22 Jan 1888 - 27 Feb 1932 "Mr. Creed H. Maxey was found on his bed at his room at Cave City Sunday afternoon. He evidently died suddenly from hemorrhage as he was fully clothed and was wearing his spectacles. "Mr Maxey was born and reared at Tompkinsville, but had lived in Glasgow many years and was interested in the oil business. "Creed" as everyone knew him, was well liked and made friends wherever he went. "He is survived by one daughter, Miss Mary Jane Maxey, a student in W.K.T.C. in Bowling Green. "Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the home of his aunt, Mrs. Lucy Humble of this place and burial was in the family lot in the Glasgow cemetery."
