Daughter of the late Elbridge Marcellus and Maggie Bell Matthews Carver
Moved from Barren Co in 1939 to Burbank, CA where she was a bookkeeper for the 
motion picture and television commercial industries. Returned to Glasgow in 
1993, member First Presbyterian Church of Glasgow.
Survivors:
Daughters: Patti McQuown of Glasgow and Peggy McQuown of Burbank, CA
Nieces: Edna Carver Wilhite of Calhoun, KY and Linda Brown of WV.
Nephew: Leon Carver of Louisville KY
Great-nephew: Fred Carver Wilhite of Calhoun KY
Great-niece: Dr Trudy Brown of WV
Preceded also in death by:
Husband: Clifton B McQuown
Brothers: Eldridge and Dogue Carver
Sisters: Pauline Carver Riggs and Alma McCoy
Services: 1 pm Wednesday, 12 March 2003, A F Crow and Son Funeral Home, burial 
Carver Cemetery at Austin.
