Name: Doris Alexander Meade
Residence: Glasgow KY
Died: Saturday, 17 Sept 2005, Medco Center at Franklin KY, age 82
After mother's death at an early age, she helped raise her younger siblings. 
1941 graduate of Glasgow High School; lived many years in Houston TX working in 
retail at Sak's Fifth Avenue. Retired and moved back to KY in 1980 to be closer 
to her family.
Survivors:
Daughter: Alice Dotson Johnson and husband Leon of Casper WY
Two granddaughters, two great-granddaughters
Two brothers: Ray Alexander and wife Juaunita of Bowling Green KY and Henry 
Alexander and wife Dorothy of Woodburn Ky
Two sisters: Norma Lyons and husband "Bobby" of Glasgow and Carolyn Everett of 
Houston TX
Many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by:
Mother: Floyd Chitwood Alexander
Father: Charlie Alexander
Siblings: Arlene and Charles
Private graveside services, then memorial service at Hiseville Cemetery in the 
Alexander family plot.
