Lodge. During WWII, served US Navy, life-long member of the DAV Chapter 20 of
Glasgow.
Survivors:
Wife: Mary Alice Scott Newberry
Son: Mac Newberry and wife Carol, Cave City
Daughter: Betsy Vance McDaniel and husband, Larry of Peoria, IL
Grandsons: Jeffrey McDaniel and wife Tricia of Peoria; John Michael Newberry and
Kevil Paul Newberry, both of Cave City
Granddaughters: Jennifeer McDaniel of Phoenix, AZ and Gina Newberry of Cave City.
Sister: Katherine Esterly of Collinsville, VA
Niece: Jane West of Richmond, VA
Aunt: Georgia Mae Clark, Glasgow.
Services: 1 pm Saturday, 9 Sept 2000, Bob Hunt Funeral Home, burial Cave City
Cemetery.
