OBIT: Infant Puckett, 1877, Barren Co. Submitted by Sandi Gorin NOTE: I have no connection, no further information and am not seeking additional information. "DIED: - At Glagow Junction, Ky., on the 1st inst., an infant son of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Puckett, aged twenty-seven hours. "It must be sweet in childhood to give back The spirit to its maker, ere the heart Has grown familiar with the paths of sin - But alas! how painful to the fond parents to see their hearts' idol torn from them before they had grown familiar with its features. Our entire community sympathize with the heart-broken parents. This is the second son they have lost in infancy. "May a merciful Providence pour balm into their bleeding hearts. A Friend. This child's burial location cannot be found, but could possibly be at Evergreen Cemetery in Park City. See below: Infant Puckett, 13 Feb 1871 - 13 Feb 1871, infant son of J R & Setta Puckett. Neither parent is shown buried there. Glasgow (KY) Weekly Times, 8 March 1877. ************************************************************************ Copyright.
