Obituary of Lougeanie Powell, 1934, Barren Co.

NOTE: I have no connection, no further information and am not seeking
additional information.

"Mrs. John Powell, aged 88 years and 5 months, died Monday at the home of
her son, Mr. J. H. Powell of near Bruce, of infirmities due to old age. Two
other sons survive, dan and Haiden Powell, both of the same community.

"Aunt Puss" or "Grandma Powell", as she was nown to a host of relatives and
friends was loved by all of her acquaintenances.

"She was a member of the Baptist Church at Lucas, where funeral services
were held Tuesday afternoon, by Rev.J. H. Swann of Tompkinsville, and burial
was in the burying ground on the tobacco road."
