age 86.
Born: 16 Sept 1918 Catskill NY
Life-long resident, moved to Kentucky in 1999
Daughter of the late Herbert and Lillian Gibbs Moon
Graduate of Catskill High School. Received her bachelor's degree in Education 
from the State University at Albany NY and her master's degree from SUNY at 
New Palz. Employed as a high school English and history teacher at Athens High 
School in the 1940's. After working as a social worker for the Greene County 
Dep. of Social Services, she later rturned to teaching at the Leeds School 
House and then at Irving Elementary School from which she retired. She was a 
lifelong member of the Catskills United Methodist Church, member Citizen's 
House Company Ladies Auxiliary of which she was a past president; member of 
the An-ti-ora Chapter DAR, member of the Friends of Asbury Cemetery 
Association, member New York State Teacher's Association.
Survivors:
Sons: Philip W III and wife Nancy of Catskill; David H and wife Lorena of 
Darlene of Glasgow
Step-daughter: Judith (McHugh) Kicq of VA
Grandchildren: Philip R Pelham of Livingston NY, Dawn Pelham Clemens of 
Warwick NY, Karalee Pelham of Glasgow, Kasey Jo Pelham of Bowling Green KY, 
Catherine Pelham and Christopher Pelham of VA.
