Son of the late Charlie Wesley and Addie Pearl Matthews Piercy
Member East Main Methodist Church in Glasgow. Farmed in KY, moving to New 
Castle in 1952 when he was employed at Ingersoll Steel. Was employed with the 
New Castle Police Department, also employed with Henry County Sheriff's 
Department from 1967-1992, serving as sheriff from 1 Sept 19081 until 31 Dec 
1986. Member Eagles Lodge in New Castle.
Survivors:
Daughters: Paula Darlene Piercy Graham of Cicero IN and Kimberly Sue Piercy of 
New Castle
Sons: Paul A Jr of New Castle and Jeffery Eugene of Muncie IN
Grandson: Michael Paul Piercy
Sister: Velma Lougene Pedigo of Glasgow
Cousins: Floyd Piercy and wife Betty and Jessye Ortego, both of New Castle.
Preceded also in death by:

Brother-in-law: Elton Lee Pedigo
Uncle: William Russell Piercy
Services; Friday 19 Nov 2004, 11 am, Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New 
Castle, burial South Mound Cemetery, West Lawn Addition.
