Glasgow (KY) Weekly Times, 25 Dec 1895
"Dave Preston, of the Glasgow Junction country, died December 9. Mr. Preston 
was a well known citizen of the Smiths Grove country a few years ago. He was a 
hard working clever man, and amassed at one time quite a snug fortune, but by 
going security lost all he had."
