"Mr. Orlando C. Pace, 91, father of Mr. Clarence Pace, of Glasgow R. 1, and former Glasgow business man, died at his home in Lebanon, Ky., Tuesday morning at 6 o'clock, following a month's illness. Death as caused by complications and infirmities due to old age. "He was born at Marrowbone, in Cumberland county and later moved to Glasgow where he engaged in the general merchandise business on the corner now occupied by the Citizens National Bank. In 1904 he moved to Lebanon and engaged in the fertilizer business until his retirement ten years ago. His wife, Mrs. Cornelia Carter Pace, died in 1921. "Mr. Pace was a devout member of the Presbyterian Church, having professed faith in his Maker while residing at Marrowbone. He will be remembered by his many Barren county friends as a man who commanded the respect and admiration of all who knew him and during his lifetime was active in civic and religious circles of his community. "Besides Mr. Clarence Pace, he is survived by one daughter, Miss Leta Pace, of Lebanon; one sister, Mrs. Cora Petrie, Louisville; two brothers, Messrs Sam Pace, South Bend, Ind.; Mr. James Pace, Washington, D.C. Funeral services were held 3 p.m. yesterday at Lebanon Presbyterian Church. Interment was in the cemetery there."
