of WW II and the Korean Conflict, awarded the Bronze Star Metal and Purple 
Heart. Member VFW Post 5309, Kentucky Colonel, member Glasgow Cumberland 
Presbyterian Church.
Survivors:
Daughter: Linda P Matthews and husband Tommy of Hiseville KY
Grandsons: Bo Matthews and wife Terri of Glasgow and Todd Matthews and wife 
Tonya of Bowling Green KY
Great-grandsons: Greg and Luke Matthews
Preceded also in death by:
Wife: Martha Hansen Phillips
Infant son: Boyd Hansen Phillips
Services: 2 pm Friday, 16 Jan 2004, Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home, burial 
Hiseville Cemetery.
