Born: 10 Mar 1941 Green Co KY
Son of: John Washington Price, decd and Mary Ethel Gowen Price of Summersville,
who survives.
Graduate of Greensburg High School; worked for College Street Service in
Glasgow; worked in hotel-motel maintenance and military housing maintenance;
served as Fire Chief of Congress, AZ from 1994 until his death. Member Congress
Community Church.
Other survivors include:
Wife: Rebecca Sue McPherson Price
Children: Michael Price of Colorado Springs, CO: MItchell Price of Hercules, CA;
Tonia Greenwell of New Haven; Melissa Ogles of Glasgow; Dana Cox of Tuscon, AZ
and Rob Price of Congress.
Grandchildren: Colt and Cody Price, Cali, Travis and Jessica Price; Justin,
Shawna and Austin Greenwell; Micah and Ethan Ogles and Cory Price.
Brother: Ernest Price of Summersville
Sisters: DeanBarrick of Glasgow and Harlow Warf of Greensburg
4 nephews and 8 nieces.
Preceded also in death by
Brother: John W Price Jr
Sister: Tennie McIntosh
Services at Wickenburg Funeral Home, Wickenburg, AZ Tuesday, 8 August 2000;
graveside service to be held 1 pm Saturday 12 Aug 20000, Red Brick Oak Grove
Cemetery in Grab, KY.
