Glasgow (KY) Weekly TImes, 12 Aug 1896.
"Betsy Ritter, a lady aged about 55 or 60 years, was found dead in Dr. 
Crabtree's clover field near Gamaliel recently. Death was probably caused by 
excessive heat. She is thought to have been dead at least a day when found."
