worked for the Community Action Agency of Barren County.
Survivors:
Sons: Hershel Lee and wife Dorthia of Glasgow, Gerald Russell of Upton, KY, 
James Oloh of Glasgow, Steven Paul and wife Kathy of Glasgow, John Daniel of 
Glasgow.
Daughters: Norma Jean Hale and husband John Jr of Glasgow, Mayme Ruth Smith and 
husband James Lee of Glasgow, Marian Lois Akin of TX, Wanda Joyce Smith and 
husband Bill of Glasgow, Juanita Kirby of Glasgow, Beverly Ann Thomas and 
husband Jerry Lee of Glasgow and Betty Jo Johns of Glasgow.
Half-brothers: Walter Thomas Britt of Crawfordsville, IN and Edgar Lee Britt of 
Phoenix, AZ
Half-sister: Gladys Webb of TX
Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded also in death by:
Sisters: Mervin Horton and Vera Chaplin
Half-sister: Helen Marie Mercer.
Services: 2 pm Friday, 6 Dec 2002, A F Crow and Son Funeral Home, burial 
Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
