Member Eleventh Street Baptist Church, deacon, member of the male chorus, 
Missionary Society, treasurer of the senior choir, president of the 
brotherhood. Farmer, served in the NAVY during WW II.
Son of the late Richard and Mirtie Stockton Ray.
Survivors:
Daughter: Barbara Starks, Bowling Green
Sons: Eddy Ray of MD, Rev Roger Ray of Hopkinsville, Richard Ray of Marion, KY 
and Christopher Burnham of Bowling Green.
Sister: Elizabeth Dunn of Bowling Green
Brothers: George Ray of Alvaton, KY and James Ray of Nashville, TN
17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren
Companion: Leatha Boards
Preceded also in death by:
Brother: Richard J Ray
Sister: Eula Rhodes
Services: 1 pm Wednesday, 4 Dec 2002, church, Burnam & Son Mortuary in charge 
of arrangements, burial Fairview Cemetery.
