Daughter of: Harvey Lynn and Margaret Susan McPhilamey Lynn, decd.
Widow of: Charles M. Robertson
Married: 1 Nov 1946, Baltimore, MD; he died 1964.
Graduate of Sheriday, WY High School; Hospital for the Women of Maryland at John
Hopkins University in Baltimore. Was 1st Lt. in the US Army, served as nurse
1942-47 at Walter Reed Hospital. Nurse at Columbus Regional Hospital for 20 yrs,
Muscatatuck State Developmental Center in Butlerville for 4 yrs and at St.
Vincent Jennings Hospital in North Vernon, IN 5 years. Volunteer for Rescue 20
in Jennings County at its inception.
Survivors:
Sons: Buzzard of Commiskey, IN; Grady of Taylorsville and David of North Vernon, IN
Daughter: Peggy McCoy, Glasgow
Grandsons: Charles Robertson of North Vernon, IN; Jacob of Comminskey, IN and
Robert Fincher of Louisville, KY
Granddaughters: Crystal Powers of Glasagow and Bonnie Robertson of Commiskey.
Great-grandchild: Daniel Powers, Glasgow
Preceded also in death by:
Brother: Robert Lynn
Sister: Mildrew Shaw
Military rites at Dove-Sharp and Rudicel Funeral Home, Frday, 3 Mar, 2000, 1 pm
by North Vernon Veterans of Foreign Wars, Matt Hester Post 2021. Private
ceremony graveside at Vernon Cemetery at a later date.
