Died: Wednesday, 29 June 2005, suddenly, residence, age 74
Born: 1 February 1931 Parsons KS
Served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. Upon retirement, the Russell 
family moved to Glasgow where they have lived for almost 20 years. He was a KY 
Colonel, and a pioneer family of Barren Co. His ancestor was Henry Dixon for 
whom Dixon Cave in in Mammoth Cave is named.
Survivors:
Wife of 52 years: Mary Russell
Two daughters: Vicki Gail Russell of Glasgow and Ruth Russell of Atascadero, CA
Grandson: Jason Russell of Glasgow
Granddaughter: Margaret Ann Russell-Spaethe of Atascadero
Brother-in-law: James C Harkey of Glasgow
Two nephews: Daniel Russell of IL and James Harkey III of CA
Several cousins.
Services: Open house at their home at 416 W Cherry Street in Glasgow in his 
memory, cremation.
