Daughter of the late Erastus and Lorena Burks
Attended school in Temple Hill KY, graduated from Western KY University in 
1950. Spent most of her career teaching first grade school at Glen Oak School 
in Peoria IL where she retired in 1985.
Survivors:
Husband of 54 years: William Russell
Son: William Russell and family of Champaigne IL
Brother: Roy Lee Burks of Fowler IN
Sister: Phoebe Peden of Peoria
Preceded also in death by a son: Marcus Russell
Services: Saturday, 12 Mar 2005, 2:30 pm, A F Crow and Son Funeral Home, burial 
Poplar Log Cemetery, cremation.
