"Mrs. John Ryan died at the home of her father, Mrs. C. R. Smith, in the Coral Hill country, Tuesday evening last after a lingering illness from tubercular trouble. She was only twenty-nine years old at her - to human understanding - untimely death. "Before her marriage, Mrs. Ryan was Miss Zilpah Smith, a daughter of Mr. C. R. Smith, one of the cleverest men anywhere and a prominent citizen of the Coral Hill country. She was a splendid young lady herself, and a woman of rare christian character, being a devoted member of the Christian church. She leaves two shildren, a girl of six, and a son of three years, besides a husband, to mourn her death. "Funeral services were held at the residence of Mr. C. R. Smith, near Coral Hill, Tuesday evening at 2:30 o'clock conducted by Rev. Harvey Baker Smith, of this place, after which the remains were interred in the Smith family burial ground on the Smith old homestead, now the ...."
