Name: Billie Perdue Stockton Residence: Glasgow KY Died: Thursday, 3 Mar 2005, a month after being diagnosed with a form of Parkinson's disease, age 82 Mr and Mrs Stockton moved their family to Glasgow in 1953, from Monticello. She was primarily a housekeeper, but worked for several years at Elmore & Payne Packing Company, and for many years worked at the concessions stand during Little League games at Gorin Park. Member Glasgow Baptist Church where her love and talent for cooking served her well as a member of the then "kitchen committee." Because of her love for children, she also served as a member of the nursery committee. For 27 years, Mr and Mrs Stockton spent winter months in Moore Haven FL where fishing and fellowship with friends filled her life. While at Moore Haven she attended the First Baptist Church. Survivors: Husband: Reed D Stockton with whom she would have celebrated her 63rd anniversary on March 7th Four children: Reeda Greer and Susie Pursley and husband Bennie of Glasgow and Donna Early and Dennis Stockton and wife Jackye of Frankfort KY Eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren Preceded in death by: Parents: James W and Nancy Perdue Four sisters, two brothers Services: Sunday 6 Mar 2005, 1 pm, A F Crow and Son Funeral Home, burial Elk Springs Cemetery in Monticello KY Additional Comments: NOTE: I have no connection and no further information.
