Glasgow (KY) Weekly Times, 8 Apr 1896
"Mrs. Steffy, widow of the late Lawrence Steffey died at her residence near Bon 
Ayr, last Sunday night. Mrs. Steffy was an excellent lady, the mother of Mr. 
Wm. Steffy of the Sinking creek country. She was buried at Bon Ayr Monday 
evening last.
