OBIT: B.G. Slinker, 1875, Barren Co. Submitted by Sandi Gorin NOTE: I have no connection, no further information and am not seeking additional information. "Mr. B. G. Slinker, one of the most energetic and successful farmers, and one of the most useful and christian gentlemen, of the Hiseville neighborhood, died on Thursday night last, of typhoid pneumonia, after ten day's illness. The testimony of his near neighbors, as to his lofty character and kind heart was sincerely attested in their constant attendance at his bed side, and in their honest expressions of sympathy, and hope of his recovery. He left an affecitonate wife and several children to mourn over a loss that, to them, seems almost overwhelming." Mayfield-Jones Cemetery B.
