Name: James Freddie Sayers [photo] Residence: Naples FL Died: about 20 June 2005, in the Gulf of Mexico, after a plane crash, just off Florida's coast, age 48 The Associated Press reported that Sayers' plane went down Monday, 20 June 2005, in stormy weather. A Coast Guard helicoper found remains of his Cessna about 30 miles from Cape Sable, FL. Sayers, however, was not found and a search for his body was suspended. Sayers was born in Barren Co KY. He attended Red Cross and Park City Elementary Schools and graduated from Barren County High School in 1975. He had lived in Bowling Green prior to moving to Naples in 1989. Survivors: Wife: Lisa Sayers Two childen: Hunter and Colton Sayers, of Naples Mother: Mae Sayers of Gallatin TN Mother and father-in-law: James and Joy Leaster and Bobby and Mary Robertson Three nephews, two nieces and several cousins.
