Mr. Henry Anderson Underwood, known to everybody through this section as Mr. "Buck" Underwood, died at his home near Temple Hill, Monday afternoon at the age of 80 years. He was born an[d] reared on the farm where he died and was well and favorably known thruout his section of the country. He has been an invalid for 20 years and his death as not unexpected. He was twice married, fidrst to Miss Martha Wells, who died many years ago. From this union the following children survive: Messrs. John Underwood of Cleveland and F. C. Underwood, our popular city mail carrier, Mrs. Zibe Kincheloe of Fallen Timber, Mrs. Thomas Gentry of Scottsville, Mrs. James Durham of Westmoreland, Tenn. His second wife, Mrs. Mary Combs of Mt. Herman, who died several years ago. He leaves one brother, Mr. Will T. Underwood of Bristletown. Mr. Underwood was a member of the Baptist Church and was faithful to his church obligations. The interment was in the cemetery at Popl! ar Log yesterday afternoon after funeral services conducted by Rev. Easley of this place."
