Died: Friday, 28 Sept 2001, Forest Park Health Center, Carlisle, PA, age 92.
Born and raised in Barren Co.
Daughter of: Jasper N and Ruby Jane (James) Pedigo, dec'd.
Attended Western Kentucky State Teacher's College, taught school for two years 
in Barren Co. Moved to Franklin in early 1940's with her husband Paul when he 
accepted a position as principal of the newly merged Simpson County High 
School. She worked as a secretary for the superintendent of education in 
Franklin. An active member of the Business and Professional Women's Club, 
Franklin Garden Club and the First Baptist Church.
Survivors:
Husband: Paul Vaughn
Daughters: Nell (Mrs. John) Henderson of Franklin, TN; Nancy (Mrs. David) 
Siltman of Montgomery Village, MD and Paula (Mrs. John) Gottlieb of Harrisburg, 
PA
7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services 3 pm Saturday, 6 Oct 2001, Greenlawn Cemetery, arrangements 
by Crafton Funeral Home of Franklin, KY.
