"MR. DAVID S WADE died at one o'clock Wednesday morning, Oct. 28th, at his home about two miles south of Glasgow. He had been in delicate health for a year or two past. During the last few months he has been quite feeble, and his death was not entirely unexpected. "Mr. Wade was born in the upper portion of the State, but came to Barren county with his parents when quite a boy, and has since made it his home. He was one of the oldest and most respected citizens of the county. In his business transactions he was the soul of honor, and no man enjoyed a higher reputation for integrity than he. In the social circle he was kind and considerate and never failed to inspire those who were thrown in contact with him with feelings of respect and esteem. "The funeral service will be held at the Christian church, at two o'clock this evening."
