"MR. W. A. WELLS. Mr. W. A. Wells died at his home on Front Street Sunday
midnight at the age of 78 years. He is survived by his wife and one son, Mr.
Henry Wells, route 5 by a former marriage. Mr. Wells was born and reared in the
Fallen Timber section and has spent his life in Barren county where he was held
in the highest esteem. He was a member of the Methodist Church, and was a man of
strict honesty honored and trusted by all who knew him. He was twice married.
The burial was in the Glasgow cemetery; after funeral services conducted by
Revs. Piercy and Risen."
