Glasgow (KY) Weekly Times, 17 June 1875
"Mr. John Walton, an old and greatly respected citizen of Barren county, who 
lived in the Hiseville neighborhood, died last week. Mr. Walton had reached 
the limit laid down by the Psalmist, and calmly awaited the suffoms of laying 
down the cares of this world to enter upon that rest that remaineth for the 
righteous."
