Dora Warder 1917 Barren County KyArchives Obituaries Unknown Glasgow KY newspaper. "BELOVED LITTLE GIRL DIES. Dora, the bright and beautiful little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Warder, passed peacefully out to rest, early Wednesday morning, at the Maplewood Infirmary after a serious illness of typhoid fever, and a complication of diseases, but the direct cause of her death was the re- infection of typhoid. She was eleven years old. "The sad death of this little girl will cause universal sorrow to her little playmates, and to her older friends as she was a great favorite with them all because of her affiableness and sweet nature. The only child of her parents, she was completely adored and most idolized by them and was a bright and sunny spot in the home and in the lives of her parents. "To the distressed mother and father, bowed down in grief, and sorrow, goes out the tender love and sympathy of their many, many friends. "The funeral services were conducted by Rev. I. D.S. Knight and Rev. E. W. Elliott of the Christian church yesterday at 2:30 o'clock, and the interment took place in the Glasgow Cemetery."
