Farmer in the New Salem community, retired from Gulf Oil Company in Glasgow, 
member Mt Pleasant Baptist Church, veteran of WWII, serving in the U S Army.
Survivors:
Companion: Ann Wilson
Two daughters: Connie Emory and husband Charles of Norman OK and Kim Gleitz 
and husband George of Bowling Green KY
Son: Keith and wife Vicki of Glasgow
Eight grandchildren: Charles Chuck" Emory and wife Jan, Tanya Guthrie and 
husband Lloyd, Chris Emory and wife Suzannah, Chad Emory and wife April, 
Brandy Pendygraft and husband Jamie, Joshua Williams, Brandon Weaver and 
wife Ashley and A J Stahl
Nine great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Preceded also in death by:
Grandson: Davy Williams
Four brothers: Berford, Pomp, Jesse and Melvin Weaver
Three sisters: Lennie Bagby, Allie Wells and Irene Proffitt.
Services: 2 pm Monday, 3 Oct 2005, A F Crow & Son Funeral Home, burial New 
Salem Cemetery.
