Retired farmer; soil analyzer for the University of Kentucky; veteran of WWII,
having served in the US Air Force. Member Browders Chapel Baptist Church; past
president of the Barren County Historical Society.
Survivors:
Son: Ken Wininger of Glasgow
Daughter: Gloria Carrico and husband Stephen of Bowling Green, KY.
Grandchildren: Sara Beth Carrico of Bowling Green; Stephen Wininger of
Louisiana; Leslie Wininger and Andy Wininger, both of Glasgow
Great-grandson: Matthew Wininger
Sisters: Sadie Howell of Bowling Green and Ruh Robertson of Orlando, FL
Several nieces and nephews.
Preceded also in death by brothers: Rondal, Mike, Ernest and Paul Wininger.
Services: 2:30 pm Thursday, 21 Dec 2000, A. F. Crow and Son Funeral Home,
Glasgow, entombment at the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
