Born: 20 August 1914 Glasgow, KY
Son of: Ish and Gertie Wininger, decd.
Took piano lessons from Miss Anna [Annie] Gorin of Glagow for 8 years, member
Glasgow High School Class of 1934. He moved west shortly after graduating, had
long and successful career as a drilling contractor in 5 states, primarily AZ,
Mexico and Canada. Member of the National Guard for 4 yrs, the MasonicLodge of
Safford, AZ, avid hunter and fisherman.
Survived by:
Wife of 62 years: Velma Wininger
Daughter: Patricia Weight, Phoenix
On: Mike Wininger, Jr, Payson, AZ
Brother: Charles Wininger, Glasgow
Sisters: Sadie Howell of Bowling Green, KY and Ruth Robertson of Orlando, FL
6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Services: 27 May 2000, Hansen Chapel, burialResthaven Cemetery in Phoenix.
