Howard-Robertson Marriage Bond

Below is Text from a photocopy that I think was obtained at the Barren 
County Kentucky Court House. Text between the slashes // is hand written. 
Notice how the clerk misspelled both Wade and Robertson. (Submitted by 
Mark Rhoads.)

Know all men by these presents that we / Wade Howard & Wm Robirson/ are 
held and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the sum of 
fifty pounds current money which payment well and truly to be made we 
bind our- selves and our heirs firmly by these presents sealed and dated 
this /10th/ day of /July/ 181/5/ The condition of the above obliga- tion 
is such that if there be no lawful cause to prevent a marriage intended 
between the above bound /Wade Howard & Nancy Robirson/ for which a 
marriage license has issued then this obligation to be void else to 
remain in full force and virtue.
