All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ky/kyfiles.html ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Virginia Blalock vblalock@sbcglobal.net January 1, 2015, 4:30 pm Source: Barren County Will Book 3-4 P. 24 Written: July 29, 1830 Recorded: August 1830 Will Book 3-4 p. 24 Barren County Kentucky Ann Ferril’s Will I, Ann Ferrill of Barren County in the state of Kentucky being in a low state of Health but retaining my right reason and understanding and calling to mine (sic) the uncertainty of life do make and ordain this my last will and testament in the manner following to wit: 1st my will and devises that so much of my personal estate be sold as well to pay all my Just Debts, at such credit as my Executor my deem most to the interest of my estate 2nd my will and devise is and I do hereby give and bequeath to my beloved Daughter Elizabeth Ferrill the whole of my estate both real and personal and my Executor is hereby requested to manage my estate by Hiring out my servants or otherwise as he my think best for the interest of my Daughter until she becomes of lawful age or marrys and in either case my daughter their to have the free and full possession of my estate. I do hereby nominate and appoint my Friend and Brother Edward Ferrill my executor to carry this last will and testament with execution given under my hand and seal the 29th July 1830. Stockton Ann (X) Ferrill Noah Barton Mark Barren County Court August Court 1830 The within and foregoing writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Ann Ferrill, deceased, was produced in court and proved on definitely by the oaths of William Anderson, and Noah Barton subscribing witnesses and therefore and the therefore writing was ordered to be recorded as the true last will of the said Ann Ferrill, deceased, and the same that herewith duly recorded accordingly.
