Date: Fri, 30 Jan 2003 From: Vivian Moon vivianmoon@juno.com ********************************** January 30, 2003 Thursday Middletown Journal, Middletown, Ohio Leona Craig Mrs. Leona Craig, 95, of Venice, Fla., passed away Tuesday morning, Jan. 28, 2003, at her residence. She was born in Bath County, Ky., on May 17, 1907, a daughter of Lawrence and Sarepta (Thompson) Thomas, and lived in Middletown most of her life. She and her husband, Orville Craig, resided in the Verity Parkway high rise for 20 years prior to his death in 1988. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mrs. Craig is survived by two daughters, Frances Royse of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Donna Barnes of Port Charlotte, Fla.; two sons, Vernon Craig of Wooster, Ohio, and Robert Craig of San Diego, Calif.; 23 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; and a sister, Hazel Gilbert of Cincinnati. ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home in Middletown. Friends may call from noon until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Woodside Cemetery.
