Lexington Leader December 1971
Fields, Mrs. Miranda Fleming, 82, former resident of Lexington, died Thursday 
at her home in Alexandria, VA. She was a member of Crestwood Christian Church 
and the widow of Joseph Birdette Fields. She is survived by one son, Robert 
Fleming Fields, Alexandria, a sister Mrs. Dorothy June Crouch, Lexington and 
one grandson, Robert Michael Fields. Funeral 10 a.m. Tuesday at Kerr Brothers 
Funeral Home by the Rev. David Blondell, burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park. 
Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Monday.

Additional Comments:
Miranda was known as "Randy" by family and friends.
She was born August 01, 1889 in Owingsville, Bath Co., KY to the late Thomas 
Joshua and Maria Louisa Steele Fleming.
Her daughter Emma Louise Fields preceded her in death on May 11, 1971.
