She was born in Owingsville, Ky., to Clarence and Minnie (Everman) Butcher, who are both deceased. She married William P. "Red" Guy in 1951. He died Aug. 23, 1993. Mrs. Guy lived most of her life in Marion. She was a homemaker and a member of the Marion Moose Lodge and AMVETS. She was an avid bingo player. Surviving are eight daughters, Priscilla (Doug) Gatrill, and Regina (Keith) Emmard, both of Homestead, Fla., JoAnn "Jody" (Marvin) Croussore, Connie (Rick) Davis, Trela "Grassy" (Larry) Davis, Jill Clark and Lisa (Chris) Cox, all of Marion, and Erica "Missy" (Brian) Hensley, Gas City; four sons, Kim "Hot Rod" (Mary Ferguson) Guy, Lagro, Dusty Sr. (Jennifer) Guy, Eric "Michael" (Phyllis) Guy, and Terry "Snapper" (Lisa) Guy, all of Marion; three brothers, Johnny and Sidney (Margaret) Butcher, both of Owingsville, Ky., amd Don Butcher, Mississippi; a sister, Gemima "Cotton" Dudley, Mount Sterling, Ky.; 37 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
