Mrs. Anna Jefferson Sharp Hopkins, divorced wife of Henry T. Hopkins, of Bath
county, and restored to her maiden name, died at a Cincinnati hospital Wednesday
night. Deceased was a daughter of the late Hon. and Mrs. Waller Sharp, of
Sharpsburg, and although a cripple from childhood, was a most charming young
woman. She had been in ill health for some time and went to Cincinnati for
treatment. Her health failed to improve and she grew steadily worse until the
end. She is survived by two brothers, Elgin and Waller Sharp. The former home
and burial in Sharsburg cemetery.
