Sterling after a long illness. He was a NATIVE OF BATH COUNTY, son of the late Miller and Henrietta GINTER JONES. A retired farmer and a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Emma HART JONES, five daughters, Mrs. Loretta SHELLEY, of North Middletwn, Mrs. Florine CAMPBELL, Mrs. Betty FULLER, both of Paris, Mrs. Wanda BRYANT and Mrs. Vickie BRYANT, both of Scott County; three sons, John JONES of Montgomery County, Donald and Kenneth JONES of North Middletown; two sisters, Mrs. Lela HOWARD of Mt. Sterling, Mrs. Lottie HOPPER of Winchester; nineteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Eastin-Ritchey Funeral Home by Rev. James Cooney, burial will be in the Machpelah Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today. Active bearers are Kenneth, Harold and Billy SHELLEY, Larry Markland, Jackie and Aasa Willoughby, James Brammel, and Jimmy JONES. Honorary bearers will be Ernest and Robert Turley, Cecil Curtis, Chester SHELLEY, Floyd Baker and Malcom Frazier.
