Date: Wed, 9 Aug 2000 15:33:33 EDT From: ********************************** Mrs. Fannie Johnson, 87 formerly of Middletown, died at the Otterbein-Lebanon Retirement Village Tuesday morning, August 8, 2000. She was born June 2, 1913 at BAth Co. KY., the daughter of SAMUEL and MARY MCCARTY WILLS. Mrs. Johnson had been employed by the Middletown School System as a cafeteria worker for 20 years. She attended the Towne Blvd. Church of God and was a member of the Middletown Area Senior Citizens. She leaves three daughters, Norma, and her husband, Charles SCHEIBERT of Plant City, Fla., Carolyn, and her husband, Ed MAINES, of Monroe and Marilyn Johnson, of Monroe; a son, Bob,and his wife Joan Johnson of Middletown; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren . She was preceeded in death by her husband, Robert L. Johnson in 1974. a son, Dean Johnson, in 1998, four brothers, FELMER WILLS, FRAY WILLS, FREEMAN WILLS, FLOYD WILLS and a sister FLORA NORRIS. Arrangements: Funeral Services will be at 2p.m. Thursday aat Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler funeral home, with the Rev. Mark Jackson officiating.....Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Entombment will be held at the Woodside Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorials: Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. [NOTE: those of us who have done research on this surname knows there is an error in this obituary. Fannie Johnson was the daughter of SAMPSON WILLS and MARY PEACH MCCARTY. Not Samuel Wills as stated] As you will note she was the sister of Flora NORRIS too. Neat how all the kids names started with an "F".
