They were perhaps oldest couple living that long together in the County. He was the last of 4 brothers; Elias, William, Stanfield & Rice Jones of Winchester and Mrs. Amanda Kernes. Of this vicinity are half brothers and sisters, besides his widow aged 82 years he leaves 6 children,Frank Jones, Alice wife of J. L. Markland, Vaninester Jones of Nicholas Co., Eliza wife of R. S. Goodwin, Julia wife of Alonzo Anderson and Rosa wife of Charles West of Indiana, Who have the condolences of all in their bereavment. Bath County OutLook February 1914.
